Overview

Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Củ Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers.Vietnam is famous for its vibrant street food like pho and banh mi, its stunning natural landscapes such as Halong Bay and the Mekong Delta, its rich cultural heritage including traditional conical hats (non la) and silk dresses (Ao Dai), and its handmade crafts like lacquerware and silk textiles. The country is also known for its unique coffee culture, the historic charm of its ancient towns, and its warm, hospitable people. 

DAY WISE ITINERARY

Day 1 : Hanoi City Tour with Cyclo Tour

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, meet our representative there and transfer to your hotel. Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history. City’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia. Check in hotel and have relax little after sometime get ready for city tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, at the complex, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the colonial Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda etc.  Continue the tour to one of the following museums of choice namely: the Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the Museum of Revolution, the Museum of Military History or the Museum of Ethnology. Late afternoon, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake. Hoan Kiem Lake is the centre point of Hanoi and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species. Cyclo tours—or xich lo tours—used to be quite common in Saigon, phased out for taxis and motorbikes.Get a hassle-free introduction to the city as your cyclo driver pedals past landmarks like the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hanoi Opera House, and Imperial Citadel of Thang Long (Hanoi Citadel)—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay

After breakfast get ready for trip of Ha Long Bay.  On the way, you will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields. After reaching there enjoy the mighty bay view. Ha Long Bay meaning Descending Dragon Bay in Vietnamese as legend has it that it was where a holly dragon landed down from sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, The bay cruise will continue with up close sighting of Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island, a visit to Sung Sot Cave and swimming stop at Titov Beach. Relax to enjoy the bay view at sunset, have dinner after, go fishing at 09:00 PM and spend a night on board.

Day 3: Ha Long – Hanoi

Early morning enjoy the splendid yet tranquil view of the bay at the crack of dawn. Breathe the sea’s fresh air, feel the morning breeze and hear the sounds of birds above. Have breakfast and cruise to visit Human head shaped island and Tortoise Island. Continue to cruise into Bai Tu Long Bay to discover the adjacent bay of “The Little Dragon Bowing to His Mother”. Check out from there and have lunch on board while heading to shore. Get transfer back to Hanoi and Overnight at Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast in Hotel check out from hotel to go Saigon. Get transfer to Hanoi Airport and Fly to Saigon. Arrive at Saigon Airport. Check in to Hotel and relax. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast get ready for Cu Chi Tunnels, situated 75 km northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges.  Later back to Saigon and overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Saigon – Full Day trip Mytho (Mekong Delta)

Next morning, after breakfast, get ready for Mekong Delta, the world’s largest delta and Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho City, capital of Tieng Giang Provine. Land on the Unicorn Island to enjoy wandering through verdant orchards, tasting fresh fruits and listening to some Southern style traditional music. Move on to the second delta province, Ben Tre, where you will watch local villagers make coconut candy in a rural workshop, walk around briefly and try riding a horse-pulled carriage. Later, back Ho Chi Minh City and spend time at leisure. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Saigon City Tour & Back Home

After breakfast at Hotel. Pack your bags to fly towards your hometown. Before that get a short trip of city tour as little time is there. Proceed for City Tour to visit outside of Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles, Saigon Central Post Office, which was designed and constructed in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. Then, visit the War Remnants Museum. It time to go. Then transfer to airport for departure flight.
