Ek Dham 5n 6d Ex- Delhi

Overview

Char Dham typically refers to four holy pilgrimage sites in the Indian state of Uttarakhand: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, located in the Himalayas. These "Chota Char Dham" sites are dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, Goddess Ganga, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu, respectively. The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred journey to these high-altitude shrines, which are closed for about six months each year due to harsh weather conditions. The journey is considered a pilgrimage for the purification of the soul and inner self. The story of the pilgrimage involves mythological beliefs about Lord Vishnu's activities at each location, the spiritual practices of various sages, and the establishment of temples with deep historical and religious significance.
