Srinagar 5 Night 6 Days

DAY 01: ARRIVE – SRINAGAR "Srinagar, is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats".On arrival at the Srinagar airport and transfer to Hotel. After noon take some sightseeing of Srinagar, half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Adobe of love) , Shankaracharya Temple , Pari Mahal , Hazratbal Shrine, Tulip Garden. (Tulip Garden Season Is March To April Only) also in the evening time we will give you a free Shikara ride for one hour then back to Hotel for overnight stay

 DAY 02: SRINAGAR – SONAMARG – SRINAGAR. (80 KILOMETERS 02 HRS DRIVE) "Sonamarg Sonamarg, which means ‘meadow of gold’ has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh meanders along here and abounds with trout and mahseer, snow troutcan be caught in the main river. In late April when Sonamarg is open for road transport, the visitors can have access to snow which is furnished all over like a white carpet. Private vehicles are not allowed. Visitors have to hire taxi and it is controlled by taxi mafia. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier a major attraction during the summer months. The climate of Sonamarg is very bracing; but the rainfall is frequent though not heavy, except for two or three days at a time in July and August with fine spell in between. From Sonamarg, trekking routes lead to the Himalayan lakes of Vishansar Lake, Krishansar Lake, Gangabal Lake and Gadsar Lake, stocked with Snowtrout and Brown trout and Satsar, glacier-fed and surrounded by banks of alpine flowers. A close by excursion is to Baltal, 15 km east of Sonamarg. This little valley lies at the foot of the Zojila, only a day’s journey away from the sacred cave of Amarnath is a base camp for Amarnath Yatra. Trekkers can also reach the starkly splendid roof-top of the world Leh, by crossing over the Zojila La pass. At Sonamarg the Jammu and Kashmir tourism department organizes river rafting tournaments yearly, which has recently seen the participation of teams abroadAfter breakfast proceeds to full day excursion of Sonamarg which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. Sonamarg also called Meadows of Gold is located at a height of 2692 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Evening Back to Srinagar, Overnight Stay in the hotel

.DAY 03: SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR (60 KILOMETERS / 1.5 HRS DRIV) "Gulmarg, known as Gulmarg in Kashmiri, is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The town issituated in the Pir Panjal Range in the Western Himalayas and lies within the boundaries of Gulmarg Wildlife SanctuaryAfter breakfast proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town, Drung Valley water river fall and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometres to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system( at your own cost) (the 08 minutes ropeway). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding, then back to Srinagar Stay overnight

.DAY 04: SRINAGAR – TOSA MAIDAN – SRINAGAR (70 KILOMETERS 2.0 HRS DRIVE) Tsa Maidan (or Tosamaidan) is a tourist destination and a hill station in Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in Khag area of Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The name also marks the historic Tosa Maidan route into the Kashmir Valley from the Poonch Valley. In fact, the original name of Tosa Maidan appears to have been "Tosa Marg".[3] Mahmud of Ghazni and the Sikh monarch Ranjit Singh attempted to invade the Kashmir Valley via this route.After your breakfast early morning we drive Srinagar Khag to Tosamaidan Sunshine, there you will see the historical kila (Akbar Palace) Meadows, lakes, Fishing And moreTosa Maidan is meadow in khag tehsil of Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Tosa Maidan is not only famous as a pasture but also for its historical background. Bounded by dense forests, it is situated about 10 kms from Khag in the mountains of the Himalayan range. After crossing the upper mountain reaches of Drang, Zakhora and other small villages, one reaches the pasture of Tosa Maidan. It is said that Tosa Maidan is one of those pastures which the shepherds of other neighbouring countries also used to visit in ancient times. The Mughals used to go to Poonch using this route. It is said that they had constructed a seven-storeyed building – Dam-Dam – here. The Basmai Gali(13,000 ft) is the pass which leads into Tosa Maidan. Another pass – Poonch Gali – on its right side leads to the valley of Poonch. This pass was deemed to be the safest, easiest, and nearest to reach Punjab in ancient times. From here, a path also leads to Nilnag. Tosa Maidan is the largest pasture in its surrounding areas, 3 miles in length and 1.5 miles in width. Sky-touching deodars fence this pasture presenting a view of a green carpet in summer. During the summer, the camps of the Gujjar community and shepherds with their grazing sheep in the pastures present a riveting picture. Also, the fragrance of wild flowers refreshes the whole environment

.DAY 04: SRINAGAR - DOODH PATHRI - SRINAGAR (50 KILOMETERS / 02.0 HRS DRIVE) After breakfast full day excursion tour, we drive Srinagar to Doodh Pathri Doodh (Translation, Valley Of Milk) is a beautiful tourist destination and hill station in the state of Jammu and Kashmir is located in Budgam district J&K Doodh Pathri is sloping grassy landscapes with a diversity of multi coloured Flowers up to Chang the famous Tosamaidan lies in the west of Doodh Pathri.Excursion tour places is there, Tangmarg meadows, sukhnag river fall, sochal pathri, parihass, dobiwan meadows, chanz mountain after evening time Dinner & overnight stay in the House Boat/HotDAY

05: SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM - PAHALGAM (97 KILOMETERS /2.5 HRS DRIVE) "Pahalgam is a hill station in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Mountain trails run northeast to Amarnath Cave Temple, a Hindu shrine and site of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. Overa Aru Wildlife Sanctuary is home to animals including brown bears and musk deer. Northeast, the Lidder River runs through scenic Betaab Valley. Southeast, Tulian Lake is flanked by mountain peaks and often frozen".After Breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag, After Local Sightseeing in Pahalgam. Like Chandanwari, Aru Valley and Betab Valley ( at your own cost) and then back to Pahalgam in the evening overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 06: PAHALGAM TO SRINAGAR AIRPORT DROP (97 KILOMETERS / 2.5 HR DRIVE) "Dal is a lake in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is an urban lake, which is the second largest in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is integral to tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is named the "Lake of Flowers", "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir" or "Srinagar's JeweAfter your breakfast, we will assist you with transfers to Airport. However, on your way, you can make a brief stopover for Shopping and then for your onward Flight.
